In the month of July Henesis installed a new hWSN monitoring system in a civil “A class” building in Ravenna.
The aim is to evaluate the energetic insulation and efficiency of the external walls for a long period through the monitoring of their thermal conductivity and other inner parameters.

Each measuring unit  consists of six temperature sensors and one heat flux sensor embedded in the wall structure. The units  are wirelessly connected through Henesis proprietary  protocol to our new hBridge node to upload data on the Henesis web portal (http://wisnp.henesis.eu).

Image of a typical train pantograph analyzed by Pantobot

We are proud to announce that RFI SpA (Italian National Railways company) just adopted our PANTOBOT suite for automatic inspection of train pantographs on the high speed railways in Roma!

The core of the technology (Pavisys) was developed at University of Parma; the property was acquired by Henesis, which improved the algorithms, optimized the code, integrated and developed the final product. All this, in the framework of a Technology Transfer Project between University of Parma and Henesis, supported by Spinner 2013.

Henesis is grateful to the Spinner project, the European Social Fund (FSE), the “Assessorato Scuola, Formazione professionale, Università e ricerca, Lavoro della Regione Emilia-Romagna” (www.emiliaromagnasapere.it) for making this possible.
